Religious sect leader Wayne Bent has ended the fast he began after being sent to prison earlier this week for sexual misconduct, according to Tia Bland, spokeswoman for the state Department of Corrections.

LAS VEGAS, N.M. (AP) – The leader of an apocalyptic sect has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after being convicted of sexual misconduct with a teenage female follower.
